Favorite Signs

Today I would like to share some of my new favorite signs.  Matt thinks I am crazy because it seems like every time we or I go out shopping I come home with a new sign.  I believe we have officially run out of space on our walls to hang anything else.  Here are a few of my favorites.

I got this sign for Christmas and love it.  Each arrow is also a different color.

If you have been around my page for any amount of time you know that Matt and I love softball.  We have both played from a young age and love the game. We took a trip to Columbus to visit the zoo and my cousin, between the two we stopped at Target and found this gem.  It is a picture in the background and the stitches and handles  have nails and yarn adding dimension to the picture too.

I have a lot of saying that I love to live by.  Be Brave is becoming one of those phrases that seem to stand out and I feel I continue to tell my girls. I want them to know that no matter what happens in this world they need to be brave.  They need to stand tall and not be afraid to try.

My parents also got me this sign for Christmas and I fell in love with it as soon as I opened it.  Our kids are only little for so long (my girls will be 8 in May and Trevor will be 1 in June).  I want to hold them tight and tuck them in for as long as they let me.

What are some of your favorites signs or sayings you have displayed in your home.

Grow Old with me the Best is Yet to be

Grow Old with me the Best is Yet to be …. I love this quote and couldn’t but it more perfectly for today’s topic.

Today Matt and I are celebrating 8 years of being married.  We have been together for 12 years and officially married for 8 years today.

Matt, I am so thankful for everything you do for our family.  We of course like any other couple have had our shares of ups and downs but there is no one else in this world I would rather take this journey with.  There is no one else I would want to be the husband to me and father to our children.

I love seeing how far we have come over the years and seeing how we can turn our downs in to ups and learn from each mistake that we make.  We will continue to make mistakes but nothing will change the love I have for you and how my heart continues to grow for you each and every day.

Thank you for joining my in this thing called life and giving me the three best gifts in the world.  I love you Matt!!

The Young and Brave Foundation – NP series

This foundation is amazing.  I am not just saying they are amazing because I want to but because they truly do amazing work.  Each and every one of us has in one way or another been touched by cancer.  Maybe not directly you having cancer but a friend, a family member, co-worker, etc. there is someone somewhere that you know that had/has/will have cancer.

Here are some words from the founders off their website:

The Young and Brave Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping today’s youth beat cancer.  We aim to help these brave fighters and their families overcome the challenges and hardships brought upon by cancer. Built on the foundation of LOVE we exist to inspire, encourage, inform, as well as to invest directly into treatment and recovery. We do so through networking, individual fundraising drives, community building, and financial support. Our one goal is to stand up and fight cancer for those that shouldn’t have to stand alone.

Cancer affects nearly everyone these days but those under the age of 30 are the unexpected ones. That’s who we are built for. Cancer is going to be the fight of any one’s young life. We know this and we are here to help. You don’t ever prepare for cancer so from day one we are a resource. Whether it through fundraising, advocacy, alternative medicines or just being there to listen, we are here to fight with you! Something as simple as a starting point, a push in the right direction or a simple phone call to the right person are all things that we can provide.

Creating a community of fighters, survivors and activists unified to beat cancer is our destination. We believe in you, we believe in LOVE and we believe in your right to fight like hell!

These guys are truly doing amazing things and making these patients feel loved. I contacted them about featuring them and the one thing they said they wanted to spread was love.  They didn’t push their organization or any of their products, what they wanted to share was that everyone is loved and needs love.  They are truly inspiring amazing guys.

Here are some products they have for sale:
