Favorite Signs

Today I would like to share some of my new favorite signs.  Matt thinks I am crazy because it seems like every time we or I go out shopping I come home with a new sign.  I believe we have officially run out of space on our walls to hang anything else.  Here are a few of my favorites.

I got this sign for Christmas and love it.  Each arrow is also a different color.

If you have been around my page for any amount of time you know that Matt and I love softball.  We have both played from a young age and love the game. We took a trip to Columbus to visit the zoo and my cousin, between the two we stopped at Target and found this gem.  It is a picture in the background and the stitches and handles  have nails and yarn adding dimension to the picture too.

I have a lot of saying that I love to live by.  Be Brave is becoming one of those phrases that seem to stand out and I feel I continue to tell my girls. I want them to know that no matter what happens in this world they need to be brave.  They need to stand tall and not be afraid to try.

My parents also got me this sign for Christmas and I fell in love with it as soon as I opened it.  Our kids are only little for so long (my girls will be 8 in May and Trevor will be 1 in June).  I want to hold them tight and tuck them in for as long as they let me.

What are some of your favorites signs or sayings you have displayed in your home.

Happy Mother’s Day

First, I want to wish everyone out there a happy mother’s day.

I also want to send a special shout out to my mother and my mother-in-law.

  1. 1.
a woman in relation to a child or children to whom she has given birth.
synonyms: female parent, materfamilias, matriarch; More

Above is the definition of a mother but it doesn’t truly depict what a mother is or does.  The two women above our my mom and mother-in-law and I honestly don’t know what I would do without either one of them.  They are the ones that I run to when I need help, my shoulder to cry on, or the one I go to when I need a day away.  They are my baby sitters when I need a break, my best friend when I need to gossip, and my mom when I need to cry or break down.

They have both helped me out more than they will ever know and I am forever grateful to have two amazing women in my life that I can look up to and call mom.

I also want to say thank you to God for allowing me to be the mother to my 2 soon to be 3 children.  I am so glad and lucky that he chose me to be their mother and raise them into strong individuals.  I see so much in the girls and can’t wait to see my son grow into a good man like his daddy.

Bookroo Review

Today I am bringing you a Bookroo Review.  I was contacted by the company to see if they wanted to work together and of course I jumped on the opportunity.  The girls are in the stages of learning to read and I was so excited to see what this company had to offer and couldn’t wait to dive right in.

There are 3 pricing/package options:

1. 1 month – which is $19.99 with free shipping

2. 3 month – which is $59.99 with free shipping

3. 6 months – which is $104.99 with free shipping

** There are also two book type options. You may choose picture books which each month will come with 2 or you can choose board books which each month will come with 3 books.e

I chose to do the board books for the girls since they are in a transitioning phase to reading on their own.  We received our books and the girls fell right in love with them and started reading.  The packaging was super cute and the girls were excited!

The girls loved the books and we have continued to read them over and over.  Overall, the process was super easy.  I set up how many months I want, choose which books, and then wait for the package to arrive. It was such a great experience and we can’t wait to get our next box!!

A moment ……

Today I was supposed to capture a moment of my day. Today was a rather boring day until the girl’s game so I thought I would capture the moment at the ball field, mainly because we are pretty much there 4 days a week.

The girls had a rough day today.  They were complaining and crying the whole way to the park and then when we got there they seemed to be ok.  Then daddy left and it was a play in the dirt, kick the dirt, lick our hands kind of game.  Overall, they did good and I am so proud of how they are doing this year and for only being 3 they are kicking butt!
