Be Brave necklace giveaway

I love the motto BE BRAVE.  It is something that I believe everyone should live by.  There are so many people in this world who are afraid to try things or don’t want to commit because they are afraid of failing or that something wont work.

At least by being brave you are getting to try new things, some things that people in other parts of the world may never be even given a chance to  experience.  We have so many things that we take for granted and if we just continue to be brave and take those chances then things are going to come our way and people will feed off of how we are.

The necklace came in a small little bag with drawstrings on each side.  It also had redeemed jewelry stamped on the outside of the bag.  The necklace was inside and is very well put together.  It has a good clasp and looks like it would be pretty heavy, however, it isn’t at all.  It is perfect size and weight and is a really nice necklace.

Redeemed Jewelry makes amazing jewelry and when I contacted them, they were gracious enough to participate in a giveaway with Two Miracles.  They have graciously offered to give one lucky reader a Be Brave necklace. Enter the rafflecopter below for your chance to win!

Oh HEY Friday!!

Well, I have decided that I will be joining OH HEY FRIDAY from now on.  I’ve realized that I have missed doing my 5 on Friday posts so thought I would start to join the Oh Hey Friday team and start posting there every Friday.

1. I haven’t been reading much but I just finished this book and I have to admit it was amazing.  One of the best books I have read in a while.  I think I liked it so much because it was all about marriage and it reminds you that although marriage is hard and has its twist and turns you can still make it.  Too many people give up too easily and this book is a reminder to fight and you as a couple can get through anything.

2. Fantasy Football.  If you know anything about me you know that I am a HUGE sports fan.  Baseball is number one but we really enjoy football as well.  Usually around this time I love everything except the fact that Matt wants to watch football 24/7 because of fantasy football.  Well …… this year I got dragged into play … ok ok I wanted to play but still.  I have had a pretty good team and then half my team got hurt and Peterson, well Peterson is an idiot so my team went down the drain pretty quick.   I am pretty much in every game but am only 1-4 .. BOOO but it is still fun!

3. Jamberry Nails. I have tried about 100 direct sales companies and thought why not I will give it a try.  I started selling Jamberry nails about 3 months ago and haven’t looked back since.  I have really enjoyed it and been able to help support our family and pay bills in those past few months.  If you haven’t heard of Jamberry check it out

4. My girls.  Life has been a little stressful lately and I have been highly unmotivated but seeing these girls each day makes it that much better.  They keep me on my toes and laughing with their silliness.  I still can’t believe they are 5 years old and in Kindergarten but I am so excited to see how much they learn and grow this year.  SO they both have trouble with keeping their eyes open when something flashes so this was the best shot .. it will do!!

5.  This beautiful fall weather.  OK so it hasn’t been so beautiful here it has been pretty rainy but the chill in the air makes it that much better.  I absolutely LOVE everything about fall and this crisp air.  I love when I get to put my hoodie on and drink hot chocolate to stay warm.  I would be happy if the rain went away but I will take what fall weather I can get.

What are some things you are enjoying?

Oh HEY Friday!

I am finally joining Kali for the Oh Hey Friday link-up and I am so excited!  I used to participate in the Friday Favorites which essentially this is the same thing with a little different take so I am glad to be back.

Ok, so to start with I am going to say the number 1 Happy Friday item is Jamberry Nails.  I have just recently started selling Jamberry nails and am so excited with how easy and fun it is.  I essentially get paid to do my nails and share it on Facebook.  If you haven’t heard of them or want to try a sample comment below and I will get one to you!!

Item #2 is having Matt on vacation this week.  I am a stay at home mommy so sometimes I will admit I sometimes need that mommy break.  I hear Mommy about 500 times a day and sometimes I just reach that breaking point so having Matt off for a week is AWESOME!! We have done so much with the girls this week, the highlight being taking the girls to the zoo for the very 1st time.  There favorite animal was the Red Panda but they also really enjoyed the Zebra

3 On to number 3 … My new Fitbit Flex … can you say AMAZING!!  I have tried a few things before, the Nike Fuel Band, a regular heart monitor with the strap, and the Nike+ band, however, I have not found one that I love … until now.  I was really interested in the Fitbit Flex because I wanted to see my sleep patterns as well as being a motivator to get back to my working out routine … it is helping!!

4 My number 4 items is the #100HappyDays Instagram/photo challenge.  I take pictures almost every day anyway so I thought this would be a fun way to capture some fun images of the girls or to just document what we are doing from day-to-day. I am happy to say that today is #100 for me.  After today I will have completed the whole challenge and am so excited to put something together showing all the days. Here are a few of my latest entries

For number 5 I am going to say finishing school …. again.  People always think I am crazy when it comes to school.  I currently have a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business and am currently about to complete my 3rd degree for a bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.  I am so excited to finally officially be done with school.  I do not see myself going back to school anytime!!

What are your top 5 things this week??

5 on Friday

YES!! 2 blog posts in one day.  I love participating in Story of My Life’s blogtember but I don’t want to ignore my normal routine post like the 5 on Friday’s, so for the rest of the month every Friday will have 2 posts. 🙂

1. Lotion – Now that fall and winter are approaching my love for lotion is back.  My favorite lotion was Bath & Body Work’s Tahiti Sweetie and for some reason they got rid of it.  🙁 so I have been experimenting with some new lotions and will have to report back with my favorite(s).

2. Fall – Fall may be my favorite season.  I love that nice chill air, wearing hoodies, and just enjoying the weather outside by a fire and not to forget s’mores.  Who doesn’t love s’mores??

3. My blog – My blog is a favorite every week but thought it was time to let everyone know.  My blog is my escape, it is my safe place and where I write about things I want the world to know.

4. Mamavation – If you are around on Monday’s then you know I write my Mamavation post and I am so thankful that I got to meet them and share an experience with them.  If you are trying to live your life in a more healthy manner and want a community to keep you motivated, they are the ones for you.

5. Brutus – our fur baby, he will be 7 on Sunday … I can’t believe we have had him that long, time flies.  He is half rottweiler, half black lab and the cutest dog you have ever seen ;), okay maybe I am a little biased but I still love him to death!!

5 on Friday + a giveaway

This week I had a blast choosing my 5 on Friday, I probably could have made it about a 20 on Friday but thought I would stick with the 5 :).

1. Football – As everyone knows I am a huge baseball fan, however, football is starting and I can’t be more excited.  I love football, which means fall, fires, and hoodies.  LETS GO BLUE!!!

2. Tattoos – If you have been around my blog for a while then you know I have a love for tattoos.  I am one of those who thinks they are soothing.  I really could just fall asleep while getting a tattoo (although, not recommended).  I have 3 and they are on the “worst” areas to get tattoos but all of mine to me have been soothing and little pain.  I have one on my foot, ribs, and wrist.

3. working out – YAY!! I would never in a million years expect myself to be HAPPY about working out but I am.  Sitting idle for 4-5 weeks has been complete torture.  Our workout classes started back this week and I am super excited that I am going to be getting back into the swing of things.  I did weigh in last night and since we stopped doing classes back in early May (I think) I have only gained .6 pounds which is pretty darn awesome considering for the past month+ I have been sitting unable to do anything.

4. My hubby – Matt is my rock.  I am not sure where I would be if it wasn’t for Matt.  This past week we have had some bad luck to say the least.  We own 2 cars and on Saturday our tire rod broke and hour away so we had to be towed all the way home, a couple hundred dollars later and its back home.  Then on Tuesday morning while Matt was driving home from work his brake line went out which of course I was scared to death when he got home and told me that they went out so he had to run a red light and as soon as he got his car somewhere safe there was a wreck about 10 feet away!!!  Another couple hundred of dollars and both cars are back home fixed.  All while this was happening though Matt stayed positive and never let negative come from it.  Even though we weren’t exactly sure where we were going to get the money we were able to and everything worked out.  I love how he keeps me grounded and positive.

5. My family – I have a HUGE family, well I thought I had a huge family.  My dad’s side is rather small but still a good amount.  On my moms side it is a little larger (with about 100 girls) no joke.  She is one of four girls and there are 6 out of 7 grand-kids are girls, and then 8 out of 11 great grand-kids are girls (poor boys 🙁 ).  LOL.  Anyway we are all super close and then when I met Matt’s family I think I almost fainted.  I remember walking into this humongous family and thinking, what the heck have I gotten myself into.  Now that I know everyone and all their names 😉 I am so happy that I married into another huge family.  Family is definitely important to me and I am so glad that I have a ton of people that I can rely on and know they would be there to help me in a second.

Now, for a giveaway.  I am giving away a 31 Bring-A-Bottle Thermal.  Giveaway will end on September 8th and I will announce the winner.  Enter the rafflecopter below for your chance to win.

5 on Friday

This week I had a little trouble coming up with my 5 on Friday, mainly because this week has been a little crazy.  We have been getting the girls ready for their first week, I started back to school this week, we are potty training Kendall, so on and so on.  The schedule this week has been a little crazy and I didn’t really think about my 5 on Friday until probably late Wednesday night.

1. Fans – Matt and I live in an older home and the one thing we unfortunately don’t have is central air.  We have units but they only work so well and we can’t keep them in 24/7 so all I can say is thank you for fans.  We have box fans and ceiling fans plus the window units but if we didn’t have fans we would all be one big sweat ball.

2. school – school is something I am very thankful for.  I already have a bachelors and masters degree in business administration and am currently re-enrolled in school to attain my bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management.  I am thankful that I am able to further my education by doing courses online and continuing to stay at home with the girls.

3. Twitter – I am so glad that social media has become as big as it has.  When I first started college it was all about Facebook and now I have really taken a liking to Twitter.  I am so glad that I have discovered Twitter because I have really made some strong friendships through Twitter.  I have met a ton of amazing people and hopefully one day I can meet up with a few of them, especially my preemie parents :).

4. Full House – I laugh as I am writing this one because who doesn’t love Full House.  Yes, I am 26 but am never to old to watch a good re-run of Full House.  Honestly every night I read in bed for about an hour and then I turn on the TV to Full House and fall asleep.

5. office supplies – Does anyone else have an obsession with office supplies like I do?  I don’t really know what it is but I am obsessed, I love going down the office supply aisle (especially at Target).  There are so many different colors of your basic boring things like paper clips and staples :). I know I am a little late on this one but I just discovered click-able highlighters and am absolutely in love with them!!!

What are your 5 on Friday’s?
